Scouts, Parents, and Leaders,

Please see the below special message:

Ya Ali Madad,

I want to begin by thanking our scouting leaders, our dedicated parents, and most importantly, our scouts. What you give to this program, your time, your energy, your commitment, does not go unnoticed. We see it, and we are truly grateful.

We also want to take a moment to recognize our scouting district and the support they have provided to help us grow and thrive. We are grateful for the partnership and guidance that has made all of this possible.

Before anything else, I want to take a moment to recognize the scouts being honored today. You have worked hard, you have shown up, and you have earned every recognition you receive. This is your day, and we are so proud of each and every one of you.

A New Chapter for Our Scouting Family

Our scouting program is strong, and it is growing. That growth does not happen by accident. It happens because of this community.

About two years ago, we established Pack 768. Today, we are proud to announce the creation of Troop 768. Our scouting family continues to grow, and this is a direct reflection of that growth and the strength of this community.

What this means for our scouts is that our Arrow of Light scouts from Pack 768 will now transition into Troop 768, giving them a seamless and supported path as they continue their scouting journey.

I know this may bring up questions, and I want to reassure you that our entire scout leadership team will be working closely together to make sure the bonds our scouts have built, along with the experiences and skills they have been working toward, remain strong and uninterrupted.

This change also allows us to do even more. It creates stronger programming and opens up more meaningful leadership opportunities for our scouts as they grow into confident, capable young men.

Our Purpose Remains the Same

At the heart of everything we do is youth development and service, guided by the values our Imam has instilled in us. That purpose does not change. If anything, today it deepens.

As we move forward, we ask for your patience, your trust, and your continued support. Our scout leadership team will be sharing more details soon.

To our scouts, our leaders, and everyone in this community, you are shaping that future right now, with every badge earned, every skill learned, and every young person you choose to lift up.

Congratulations to all scouts that were recognized during the court of honor ceremony earlier today. As we aim to ensure a successful transition, we request all parents to please review the tentative rosters below and verify that you have been placed into the correct troop based on REC location:

    •    Troop 758: Dallas HQ (Carrollton JK)/Lewisville JK

    •    Troop 768: Plano JK

Please note that all life scouts that have already started working on their Eagle project will continue with Troop 758. If there are any updates needed, please feel free to let us know by replying to this email no later than Tuesday, April 7th.
